How to Leave No Trace as a Nude Adventurer:

  • Plan Ahead and Prepare: Research your destination, especially regarding clothing-optional areas. Pack light, breathable clothing for the journey to your nude location and bring a backpack to carry out all your belongings, including any hygiene products specific to your needs.

  • Travel and Camp on Durable Surfaces: Stick to designated trails and established campsites, especially when exploring nude. Avoid creating new paths through meadows or vegetation. When camping nude, choose a durable, pre-existing spot with good privacy and minimize impact on the soil by using a lightweight ground cloth if necessary.

  • Dispose of Waste Properly: Pack out all your trash, including hygiene products and any toilet paper you use. If there are no established restroom facilities, practice proper waste disposal techniques further from water sources. Consider using a WAG bag (waste alleviation and gelling) system specifically designed for human waste disposal in remote locations.

  • Leave What You Find: Resist the urge to collect rocks, plants, or wildlife souvenirs. Leave the natural world as you found it for others to enjoy. This includes any materials you use for personal hygiene while nude – pack it all out!

  • Respect Wildlife: Observe wildlife from a safe distance and avoid altering their natural behavior. Nudity is not illegal in many remote areas, but maintaining a respectful distance from others is essential.

  • Minimize Campfire Impacts: If campfires are permitted, use designated fire rings and only burn what you can completely extinguish with water.

  • Educate Others: Spread the Leave No Trace message! Share these principles with your fellow nude adventurers and encourage responsible exploration of Oregon’s natural beauty.

By following these simple Leave No Trace principles, we can all do our part to ensure our natural wonders remain a place of solace, beauty, and freedom for nude adventurers for years to come. Remember, respecting the environment and practicing responsible nudity go hand in hand – let’s embrace nature’s beauty responsibly!
