Where Body, Spirit and Soul Intertwine
I photograph the human form to remember that we’re made in the image of God. My work centers on male nude self-portrait photography in nature—minimal gear, natural light, honest color. whether on the coast, candid nude in the present moment, or exploring interior light with indoor portraits, I’m after still, contemplative frames that carry body, spirit, and soul together. These nature nudes are meant to feel joyful, humble, and prayerful, glorifying God above.
Most of my work happens in nature, in places where I already feel most alive: forests, beaches, rivers, deserts, dunes, and mountains. I make these male nude self-portraits while hiking, exploring, or simply spending time alone or with my wife. Some photographs are quiet and reflective, others playful or spontaneous, but they all come from the same desire: to be present, to create honestly, and to see the human body as another part of God’s creation.
